18 Inch Campitos Turquoise Tab Necklace
+About this piece:
I can't even describe to you how gorgeous this piece is. These Campitos teardrop shaped tabs are hard to find. This turquoise... it's just gorgeous. One of my favorites. It's an incredible robin's egg blue color that has an almost translucent aura, with a very smooth, hard feel and a high polish. It's known for its clarity and is reminiscent of the very famous, and much sought after, sleeping beauty turquoise. I paired it with American mined blue ridge turquoise heishi. I have it with a large, sterling, hand crafted hook closure with a sterling ring, hand forged from a vintage die. My maker's mark is at the clasp. This necklace is perfect alone or layered with other pieces (shown in last photo. This listing is for one necklace, only.)
Necklace length is approximately 18 inches.
+About Campitos turquoise:
Campitos turquoise is mined in Sonora Mexico, just across the border from Arizona. It's a highly sought-after turquoise known for it's brilliant blues from bright blue to robin's egg and sky blue. It takes a hard polish giving it a smooth, shiny finish. It often features silvery pyrite inclusions and is frequently compared to the famous, and rare, sleeping beauty turquoise.
+About blue ridge turquoise:
Blue ridge is an American turquoise from the Orvil Jack mine in Nevada. The mine is known for it's high quality sky blue and spider-webbed turquoise, and later for it's brilliant green stones.

+ Details:
+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the pool, shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions, sunscreen and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
