Reverse side shows the Emperor riding a chariot and being welcomed to heaven by God, depicted by God’s hand at the top of the coin. Near God’s hand is a star. The coin also represents the first Judeo-Christian imagery on a coin. Constantine I was the first Christian emperor and was instrumental in guiding the empire to become a Christian state.
