Charoite RO193

This highly ornamental, striking stone is only found in and around the Chara River, in Russia. This beautiful stone is marked by distinctive, swirling patterns of light to dark violet, white and black. Charoite is typically cut as a rounded cabochon but these faceted stones really show off the slight to moderate chatoyancy that charoite is known for. Top drilled. Measures 24x15mm.
