Dendritic Peruvian Opal Gem Slice Earrings
From my studio in the foothills of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming.
Silver teardrop hoops with a slice of lucious gemstone color. These Gem Slice earrings are hand shaped from sterling silver. Peruvian opals are the national stone of Peru and are only found in the Andes. These gorgeous, bright blue opals have dendritic (branching) inclusions and are set into hand fabricated prong settings. This setting allows lots of light to come through, showing the real beauty of the gemstones. Ear wires are sterling. These are approximately 1 3/4 inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the stone.
All sterling. One-of-a-kind. Hand built in the heart of the West.
+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
