Fox Turquoise Specimen Ring sz 8 1/4-1/2

This big and beautiful ring definitely deserves to be in the specimen category...look at that stone! It's a spectacular piece of turquoise from the Fox mine in Nevada. The color is the perfect shade of dark teal and just the kind of thing collectors want to see from this mine. It's simply set, to feature the stone with a matte silver finish. The triple band holds it securely on your finger and the back is stamped with my hallmark. The top is approximately 40mm by 28mm. It best fits a size 8 1/4 to 8 1/2.
 
+About the Fox mine: The Fox mine has been excavated since prehistoric times, but the first official claim was filed in 1914. It produces a range of blues and greens but is known best for its teal and rich green stones. It's been one of the most prolific American mines. Because of the exceptional quality of the stones, Fox remains a much sought-after turquoise.

+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
