From my studio in the foothills of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. I've always had an affinity for rocks. The gemstones in my Shard collection make me think of the many happy hours I've spent rock hunting. Rough gemstones...a fragment from a beautiful whole...a little piece of magic.
Gorgeous faceted hessonite garnet. Hessonite garnet is also known as "cinnamon stone" for it's beautiful, warm yellow/orange to red/orange color. These polished chunks are set in hand built sterling prong settings with integral sterling ear wires. These earrings measure approximately 1 1/4 inch from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the stone.
All sterling. One-of-a-kind. Hand built in the heart of the West.
+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
