Hubei Graduated Turquoise Necklace

+About this piece:
Hubei turquoise, from the Hubei Provence of China, is some of the most colorful and beautiful turquoise in the world. This strand was created with graduated beads of blues, greens and chocolate colors. The matrix of these beads make give them extremely interesting patterns.
 
The hand crafted cross toggle is sterling, hand stamped with American Indian made metal stamps and marked with my maker's mark. This necklace is perfect alone or layered with other pieces. 
 
Necklace length is approximately 18 inches.
 
+About Chinese turquoise: 
China produces some beautiful turquoise from a variety of mines and has become the most widely used turquoise in the world. Much turquoise from China is reminiscent of Nevada mines that are now closed. Colors range from light blue to bright blue to deep green to brown; really, almost any color and matrix variation.

+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the pool, shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions, sunscreen and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
