Hubei Turquoise Specimen Ring sz 8 1/4

This is the most gorgeous piece of Hubei turquoise with rings and pools of light teal color on a chocolate brown matrix. I always look for this color combination in Chinese turquoise and this one is outstanding. The stone is acented with two silver leaves and a silver drop. It's quite the statement! The whole ring is finished with a matte finish. The ring band is wide and the back is marked with my hallmark. The top is approximately 43mm by 20mm wide. It best fits a size 8 1/4.
 
+About Hubei turquoise: This turquoise is mined in the Hubei Province of China. It is known for it's striking patterns and colors. Much high quality turquoise comes from this region. Turquoise has been mined in China for around 3700 years. It's found mostly in the Mashaan and Hubei Provences. There is much beautiful and valuable turquoise that comes from China and, as American mines play out and close, Chinese turquoise becomes more and more valuable.

+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
