Royston Turquoise Necklace

+About this piece:
Royston is a classic, highly prized turquoise from the American Southwest.  Production from the royston mine is limited and therefore, this turquoise is very desirable. I crafted this strand with barrel-shaped royston beads with a high polish. The colors of these stones are earthy tans and greens, very beatiful in person.
 
The hand crafted cross toggle is sterling, hand stamped with American Indian made metal stamps and marked with my maker's mark. This necklace is perfect alone or layered with other pieces. 
 
Necklace length is approximately 17 inches.
 
+About royston turquoise: The royston mine is located near Tonepah, Nevada and has operated since about 1900. This much sought after turquoise is known for it's blues and greens, often found in the same stone together, with a beautiful golden brown matrix. It's a very desirable turquoise for jewelry.

+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful to take care of it. It should not be worn in the pool, shower, while cleaning, during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water.
+ Sun, heat, lotions, sunscreen and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
