Turquoise and Sterling Spoon Ring size 8
+Artist's Sample Sale: The pieces in this sale include one-offs, class samples and pieces from my personal collection that I found difficult to part with, at discounted prices!
This is a gorgeous, vintage, solid sterling, antique spoon that I've hand-forged into a lovely ring. It's getting harder to find these American Indian themed pieces. I've set this one with a super nice Number 8 mine turquoise with outstanding webbing. It's marked sterling, inside. The inside is with a teepee and tomahawks and is just as pretty as the outside.
+All sterling. One-of-a-kind. Hand built in the heart of the West.
+About Number 8 turquoise:
Turquoise from the Number 8 mine is very famous and considered a classic American SW turquoise. It's known for its spiderweb matrix which can be golden to reddish brown, or black. This mine is closed so whatever stock is left is all that is available.
+ All pieces are slowly and carefully handmade, in my studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. Because of this, each piece is unique and may contain the slight imperfections that you would expect with a handcrafted item. Perfectly imperfect!
+ Important care note: As with all handmade jewelry, please be mindful. It should not be worn in the shower, while cleaning, or during strenuous activities such as sports, or in the water. Sun, heat, lotions, detergents, soaps and chemicals can affect stones negatively. Clean silver (not stones) with a gentle polishing cloth, especially for jewelry (Sunshine polishing cloth is recommended).
