Small Business Saturday Shop Update!

Small batch...slow made...hand crafted

Saturday, November 27, 10:00 am, mountain.

This will be a very small shop update but these little rings are pretty spectacular. They were crafted with Leland blue stones in some of the more rare colors like violet.

Leland blue isn't technically a stone but slag, which is a by-product of the iron smelting industry. In Leland, Michigan, when the smelting plant went under, the plant and tons of slag were pushed into the harbor. Slag is a glass-like material and the chemical make up determines the color. Now it's found washed up on beaches near where the smelting plant was, in Leland. The tiny stones in these rings are magical.

**This is happening this morning, on my website. Look in the shop under "Fairy Gems Collection." The sale begins at 10:00 am, mountain. Once the sale opens, there is no password required.

You'll find these stones in my shop under "Fairy Gems Collection" NO password necessary after the sale opens at 10am.

When I say we...
Most of you know I'm a one woman show. There's so much to do and a limited amount of time and energy to devote. I've started doing stone sales for my students and this has expanded into the general public, but it's really time consuming. So...I'm very pleased to announce that my son, Jaron, has joined me. This is our second family business as Jaron is also a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) trained chef and owner of specialty wood fired oven, Stoked. In his slow season, he'll be managing stone sales for me. While I'm still getting to do the part that's the most fun...choosing and buying...he's in charge of most everything else. This is a great addition to my little biz and will allow me more time to create, but still give you all the opportunity to grab some lovely stones. If you hear me talking about Jaron on my facebook page, or elsewhere, please give him a little handclap and a welcome!

Just had to let you know that I received the earrings today (that I purchased from your etsy shop )and  I was totally, completely blown away by the beauty of these pieces!. Such exquisite craftsmanship and perfect choice of stones and metal in each piece. They are both unique and lovely in their own delicate way. I was so pleased by these pieces that I went back to your shop and purchased 2 more! Can't wait to see the next pairs of earrings I ordered..I'm sure I won't be disappointed!

These pieces have souls.  I'm not Christian, but in your jewelry I'm able to see the beauty, joy, connection, comfort and grounding your faith brings to you, and it's a beautiful thing to behold.

Just wanted to let you know that I received my beautiful earrings, and am happier than ever now that I see them in real life. They are truly beautiful! Thank you for taking the time, a long time ago, to talk to me about your creative process using religious items. You made me think and open my mind in a way that helped me to allow myself to be comfortable with my religion and who I am.  Your kind words and your blog are always inspiring.
